Things to know about Equilibrium

Post  liltulip on Mon May 25, 2009 11:30 pm

Things about our linkshell:

- We are a very old linkshell on seraph, probably been around 4-5 years now.
Equilibrium leader: Liltulip
Equilibrium Sackholders: Zubuis

- We are predominantly an event based linkshell. We used to camp land hnms a couple years ago but have moved onto other things mainly due to botting/hnm drama. We occasionally will go for things like Tiamat, King Vinegarroon, Sandworm, etc but it is not a main priority for us. However if we do go for these HNM everyone on the linkshell is expected to help (if its killable with the numbers online).

- We do not believe in botting or using 3rd party programs that hack/cheat the game. We also do not believe in mpking, stealing no matter what linkshell is involved. These things are severly frowned upon in our linkshell and could be means of removal from the linkshell.

- We expect ls members to treat others with respect and be tactful. Because a hnmls is filled with a lot of different personalities, there are always going to be people who clash with another but people are expected to do whats best for the linkshell and get along with each other so the linkshell can operate like a team.

- Our linkshell is involved in almost all events within the game from limbus, einherjar, dynamis, salvage, sky, sea, ouryu, bahamut2, ks99, scnm. We essentially do everything except the camping of land hnms which does happen periodically but is not an area of major focus as mentioned above. We expect people to have 1 hnmls pearl. Social/limbus linkshells are allowed as long as they dont interfere with events. People are expected to do Einherjar/Dynamis with Equilibrium as those, are the two events that require the best attendance and we need people participating in those two events especially to make the linkshell work.

- We expect people if they are on the game to be helping out with whatever is going on. If you've had a really bad day and you want some time to yourself send liltulip/zubuis a tell and we can work something out. Turning the linkshell off and doing something else is frowned upon. Salvage is really the only event that this is not the case, people who want to do salvage are free to go and if people dont want to do salvage, that is fine too.

- Our linkshell for the most part is an officer decision based linkshell. Things such as Dynamis and Limbus are point based but pretty much everything else is officer decision. We really strive to make things as fair as possible and we look at alot of different things when making decisions such as attendance, play skill, attitude, helpfulness, time in shell, etc.

- The way we do Dynamis is different than most shells. We sell our currency and distribute the gil based on peoples attendance within dynamis. We do not fund relics. The reason this is done is it is a means to help people pay for food/supplies for linkshell events and to be as fair as possible to the people who are contributing week in and week out for dynamis. We also deem it to be more fair than using an entire linkshell to upgrade a single persons relic.

- Salvage is a big part of our linkshell. We started doing salvage about a year and a half ago after being tired and burnt out from the daily drama of land hnm's. In about a year and a half the linkshell has completed nearly 200 pieces. We are one of the few linkshell on seraph that do salvage as a linkshell. People are not left out because theres not enough room in a static, we make room for people who want to go and encourage participation. We are proud of our acheivement in this area. Because we want everyone who wants to do salvage to be part of it and not get discouraged with the cost of salvage bodies we help members upgrade salvage bodies through the use of Bahamut2 drops. If people want help with upgrading bodies they need to be actively participating in ENMs to obtain cloud evokers, attending salvage and being good team members in other events.

- Einherjar is another big part of our linkshell. Due to the way this event is designed we expect people to make an extra effort to make einherjar runs. Einherjar is one of the events that require very good and continous effort. Einherjar drops are determined by officer decision based on what 5 items people want most. We try our best to determine who should get what items based upon the effort and attendance that people put in. At the time of this post we are closing on Odin #10 (i believe) and overall our Einherjar performance has been really good.

- A big part of being in a hnmls is finding a hnmls that fits yourself. There are alot of people who fit into some shells well and others not so much. For our linkshell we are really looking for people who are team members and willing to do whats best for the linkshell. We are looking for people who enjoy helping each other and enjoy seeing people get items they want. We want people to be active in the events we do when they are online so they fit into the shell. We want people to get along with each other and be friends with each other, because the more friends you have and the more you enjoy the linkshell the better the experience of being in Equilibrium will be for you.
